Drawing on his meticulous preparation to provide clients effective solutions and peace of mind, Mark’s practice concentrates on condominium management, condominium and subdivision development, and real estate.
He regularly serves as corporate and litigation counsel to condominiums and owners across Ontario. He advises clients on complex legal issues, guides them through contentious meetings, and negotiates their most important transactions. When clients need to enforce compliance or are confronted with critical lawsuits, Mark represents them in mediation, arbitration, and litigation with a dedication to protecting their rights under all condominium-related legislation.
As part of a commitment to community development, Mark facilitates the registration of condominium and subdivision developments in and around the Waterloo Region. His practice currently focuses on advising clients on all aspects of the Tarion New Home Warranty Program and drafting disclosure statements, declarations, by-laws, and rules for standard, common element, phased, and vacant land condominiums.
In addition, Mark counsels clients on commercial and residential purchases, sales, financings, leases, and other transactions.
McCarter Grespan’s boutique sensibility, long-standing reputation, and significant impact on the growth and development of the Kitchener-Waterloo area drew Mark to join the firm. Ever keen to contribute to public outreach and education, he is presently involved in writing for condominium publications and speaking at conferences and continuing education courses.
