Jessica Kristensen

Jessica Kristensen is a member of the Business Succession and Estate Planning Team at McCarter Grespan.

Jessica helps her clients strategically protect their financial and personal legacy using wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and other legal tools. She works closely with clients to ensure their testamentary intentions are captured in ways that minimize taxes and potential estate disputes.  Every client and estate is unique and Jessica’s strengths include striking a careful balance between personal, family, and financial considerations.

Jessica advises on the administration of estates and trusts. She also regularly assists individual and institutional fiduciaries on their legal and administrative responsibilities as estate trustee with a focus on reducing exposure and managing risk.

Jessica is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP Canada), and a member of the Waterloo-Wellington Estate Planning Council.  Jessica trained and worked as a lawyer at a large national firm but is thrilled to return to her hometown of Kitchener-Waterloo and hopes to contribute to the growth and success of the local business community.
